Unable to get CBS and Fox but get NBC and ABC stations from different area

I live near Roseville, CA (which is north east of Sacramento in the Sacramento region) and I am having a really hard time figuring out how to pickup CBS and Fox stations. I currently have this antenna:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o04_s00

I have mounted it on the top of my 2 story house, on a pole on the chimney, so it is pretty high up there. As far as I can tell, it is pointing in the correct direction, which is approximately south west.

One negative that I think is going against me is that the houses south of mine are higher, as I am basically at the bottom of a hill, with the higher part of this hill being south of my house.

I am a bit perplexed, as I am able to get ABC from Sacramento and the Bay Area (so I have 2 ABC channels) and can get NBC from the Bay Area but not the Sacramento NBC. This makes me think there is something I am missing here as far as what I need to be doing.

Any advice is appreciated. I am planning to try to raise the antenna even higher but am not sure what else to do at this point. I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy a different antenna but I guess that may be the only option?

Welcome, rickdsac:

Please post a link to a TVFOOL report for your exact address (which will not show) or exact coordinates (which will be shortened) by going here:
http://www.tvfool.com/index.php?opti...pper&Itemid=29

A generic report for Roseville isn't accurate enough for your location because of the terrain problem:

I am perplexed too. The 7694 antenna is proper for your signals. You should be able to receive KOVR for CBS and KTXL for Fox, but the tvfool report doesn't take into account trees or other buildings.

The antenna should be aimed at 180 degrees magnetic by pocket compass not smart phone compass.

Can you show us a photo of what the antenna "sees" when looking 193 true/180 magnetic?

Any trees in the signal path?

Are you using a preamp?

What TV are you using to receive the signals?

There are some strong FM signals that might be interfering with TV reception. See attachment 1.

I don't have your exact address, but if I estimated your location correctly, looking South shows a lot of stuff in the way. See attachment 2.
