Naugatuck, CT Antenna Reception Help

Hi all,

Long time lurker but decided to take the steps to cut the cord. Currently have DTV and when it was installed 8 years ago, a roof antenna(not sure the make but there is a link to the picture below) was also installed for local HDTV since at that time DTV didn't have all my local channels. I stopped using the OTA antenna for quite some time now since DTV did get all my locals in HD.

Fast forward to now, I hooked up the Antenna to 2 TVs and tested them out and seemed to work fine. So I went ahead and purchased a Tivo Roamio to start this process but noticing that my signal for my locals are 50% and under so not getting a great picture quality. I switched back to the TV tuner and experiencing the same results so I know it has to with the antenna in some way.

Before I head up to the roof I wanted to get some advice on what direction to go.

Thanks in advance!

The antenna that you have looks like a DB-2. It's a UHF antenna, yet WTNH is on VHF. I'd get an ANT751 to aim at ABC and couple it to that or another DB2 using a UVSJ. Aim the DB2 at Avon, CT.
