WBBM-TV's application for a translator on RF 26 was denied, because it did not provide protection to W25DW-D on RF 25. They however have put in a new App for the same channel, but instead of on the Sears Tower as originally planned, but on the same tower as AM 820 WCPT, & their backup FM stations on top of the old WXRT studios. The coverage will be a lot smaller if approved.
WHNW-LD on RF 18 (Gary, IN) has gone digital, & no longer broadcasting an analog signal on 18.
WMEU-CA 48 is officially off the air. WMEU-LD on RF 32 is on the air, & digital only.
WPVN-CA 24 is officially off the air, because the station has decided to stay on RF 20, & they have a CP to relocate their antenna to the Trump Tower in Downtown Chicago. The call letters for this station is now WPVN-CD on RF 20 (virtual channel is still 24).
