Some notes on TVHeadend
A while back I came up with the febrile plan of putting USB tuners right on the back of two antennas and then using a network box to combine them into a single feed. This would eliminate any line...

I *think* this is because that channel is...

Yes, but the various products out there aren't designed to work this way - with the exception of the older SD boxes anyway. MythTV, on the other hand, kind of assumes that's the situation - zero or...

The antenna is a no-name, and I mean that literally there was no name on the box, at least in English. It is mounted very close to the peak of the roof using a J-mast. The antenna has a clear view...

Image of a log-periodic/UHF yagi combo
Does anyone have a good image of a "classic" TV antenna with both log-periodic VHF and yagi UHF portions?
Did you take it yourself, and are willing to release it into the public domain?
If so...

Ganging/merging, yes or no?
I live outside of Toronto, I have one set of antennas about 25 miles away at 245 degrees, and another 65 miles away at 175 degrees. In spite of using a cheap-o 4-bay and pointing it at about 200...

1) select Oshawa, Ontario, Canada as your location
2) select "Pending" and wait for the list to appear
3) look for "CITY-DT(1)" and click the map gizmo (the color bullseye)

Aren't Canadian "pending" in operation now?
I was using Maps to see what I could get in our Oshawa-area home. It comes up with many analog stations and only a few digital.
When I click "Pending" all the analog ones remain, and many more...
