Looking for Central Florida antenna help and/or suggestions

Starting from scratch, no antenna, or mast currently.
Looking for antenna, attic or outdoor mounted, mast and amp suggestions/ideas.
Would like as many channels as possible, but know there are limits.
Currently only need 1 tv hooked up, but will be 1 or 2 more in the next couple of months.
ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, ION are top priority.
Religious and foreign language channels not needed.

TV fool at 20 feet

Thanks in advance.

If you have no chimney or gable end to use as a mast mounting base, I'd suggest a 5' tripod such as the Ronnard #911, and a 10' section of 1 3/8" diameter chain-link fence top-rail. Mounted at the peak of your roof, you can mount an antenna at the 12' height above your roof which the FCC protects in their OTARD rules. This combination needs no guy wires and can be tilted over for servicing.

I'd opt for a Winegard HD7698P + an RCA TVPRAMP1R preamplifier. Use a starting aim point of about 300° per a compass, and fine tune the aim from there. Use a splitter rated for standard CATV/OTA bandwidth (5 to 1000 MHz) and with the number of output ports to serve the anticipated TVs.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)

As Always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves have a Negative Effect on Broadcast Tv Reception and so buildings and and other obstructions including your own roof and building in the directions of reception.

Some and not all Negative Effects are.

Absorbing and Blocking Reception.

Multi-Path Reception Tv signals bouncing allaround .

The Best practice is to install the , HBU 11k , at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions in the directions of reception including your own roof and building.

---------------------------------------

The Tv's Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , ATSC-Digital Broadcast Tv Stations/Channels , often named the , Antenna Channels ~ DTV Antenna Channels, ATSC-Antenna Channels ~ Air Channels~ in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable Tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable Tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select ~ Antenna Channels ~ DTV Channels ~ ATSC-Anetnna Channels ~ DTV Channels ~ Air Channels~.

The Tv Must Channel Scan for the ~ ATSC-Digital Broadcast Tv Stations/Channels.
