My existing rooftop antenna is only UHF and when some locals switched their DT signals to VHF I lost 7, 9, 11 & 13. These are the results of tonight’s scan:
2 yellow good
4 red none
5 red none
7 none none
9 none none
11 none none
11.3 was a digital subchannel of KAZA previously leased by Fox which came in yellow with good reception but the lease wasn’t renewed after Fox upgraded their signals for 11 & 13.
13 none none
20 red none
24 red none
28 red none
30 green great
50 green great
56 red none
62 green great
I don’t understand why KNBC4 & KTLA 5 are no longer received. Sometimes 2 is also a problem as is KCET. I think KCET may have reduced power since leaving PBS?
I don’t have roof access. I live in a 2 story apartment 2 miles from downtown. The building is on the away side of a hill with no line of sight to the broadcast towers.
I wish I could use an indoor antenna & have reliable reception for 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 24, 28, 30 & 50 but tonight only 2, 30 & 50 were watchable using my UHF outdoor roof antenna.
Was a beta tester with Sezmi & their indoor antenna and able to watch everything except 11, 13 & 24. Gave back the equipment at the end of the trial. Would like to find just an indoor antenna that would work that good!
Thank you
