TV Fool report:

I'm currently using a flat amplified indoor antenna, the RCA ANT1450BM. I am able to pick up CW (47.1), PBS (35.1), CBS (19.1), MyN (63.1), and Fox (57.1) currently. I am unable to pick up ABC (8) or NBC (10.1).
I read that the flat antenna may have trouble with VHF channels, so I purchased a cheap bunny-ear antenna, the RCA ANT111, in an attempt to alleviate the problem. Unfortunately, after trying several locations around my apartment, the ANT111 has been unable to pick up ABC or NBC, but it is picking up CBS, PBS, and CW.
I'm in an apartment, so indoor antennas are the only thing I can currently do. I have a large window in my living room that faces in the direction of the transmitters for channels 8, 17, 39, 48 as shown on the report.
I really would like to receive ABC and NBC through an indoor antenna. Any ideas?
