lost channels from Roanoke VA
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...903858d10d5335
I used to get those channels 3,18,17,30,36 Yellow from the North, outside Roanoke, VA (I 'm pointing from NC). The antenna yagi 91xg used to get'm from behind, the yagi was aiming to the south Greensboro.
Today I aim the 91xg and dont show. I got a little yagi to replace my Y5713. This antenna Mediasonic HW-27UV with 9 elements is doing a good job getting channels from outside Raleigh, NC 40miles and south Greensboro.
I using a channel master to boost the signal and I got a Winegard combiner. Antennas are 24ft outside, I live up on the hill.
How can I find out changes in those towers outside Roanoke, VA

Re-scan, if you have not (you didn't say).
Click on the first link that Rabbit73 posted. Note the channels with the letter "R" in the last column. Those stations are at reduced capability and are not sending out full power signals and may or may not be receivable yet.

What Channel Master booster are you using and what Winegard combiner are you using to combine the antennas?
Is the 91XG aimed at Roanoke?
Where is the Mediasonic HW-27UV aimed?

I'm just east of you in Elon and before the repack I could sometimes get 10 from Roanoke, and 7 in Lynchburg almost all the time. (Weather dependent.)
Now after the repack and many rescans, I lost all VA channels. In fact I went from 62 channels on a good day to 39.
Way to go FCC!

I' m aiming the 91xg to Roanoke Va and the Mediasonic HW to the south towers. I m picking up all the channels from the south BUT the Charlotte and Raleigh only early in the morning. I can not get a solid signal afternoon, or evening.
Channel Master CM3410 PCT with Channel Master LTE Filter for 3G signals
Winegard Combiner CC7870
NOTE. months ago I used to have the 91xg south and the Y5713 aiming to Roanoke Va and picking those channels in the morning.

The link to your estimated rabbitears.info report again (I don't have your exact address):
https://www.rabbitears.info/searchma...study_id=11931
an extract from that report:
Using the Winegard CC-7870 Combiner is a lot like using a splitter in reverse as a combiner.
It doesn't always work because when the same signals from each antenna reach the combining point, they will interfere with each other if they are not in phase (arrive at the same instant).
If you don't get all the signals when combined that you had when the two antennas were separate, that method of combining doesn't work at your location.
As a test, I suggest you aim just the 91XG at Roanoke without the combiner to see what you get.
Are there any trees or other objects in the signal path from the North?

Sorry, been away for awhile. No I can't get Charlotte stations, too far, about 110 miles to me.
I have a home made 4 bay bow tie, following the Mclapp 10x9 1/2 design. Split to 3 receivers, one no amp, the other 2 has a Wineguard 100 adjustable output amp just before the splitter. Has worked great for several years, until the repack started.
After the repack settles down, (seems stations take weeks or months to change out transmitters), I will look at different antenna designs to see if I can regain some of the stations I lost.

I will try aiming the 91xg, no trees on the way.

Good news, the 27 Fox and 10 NBC from Roanoke, they started to show since Monday. I did a scan Monday 5.am and I got 80 channels. It looks to me the cold weather brought them back.

I rescanned again the other day, still half of what I used to get. My son who lives just 6 miles north of me rescanned and doubled what he can get. Weird, just weird.
