Help me select an outdoor antenna

I need to replace an outdoor antenna on a single story metal roofed home. Existing 20 year old antenna used to receive stations from Nashville but is now damaged.

Exact location info is included in attached file.

Current antenna is 6-8 feet above peak of house and approximately 30 feet above ground level.

ChannelMaster pre amp already in place.

Help...

That is going to be tough. What channels are you wanting? Have you tried the TVFool from different heights? Say adding another 10 - 20'?

What CM amp do you have? How many tv's are you expecting to run?

Antennas Direct DB8e Extended Long Range UHF HDTV TV Bowtie Antenna (DB8e). That is UHF only. But if you can get it to pull in you should get most the main networks. If the CM amp does not do it, you might look at a low noise amp. Then all new coax, with compression fittings. How long a run of coax are you looking at? RG6 is the minimal quality.

I don't know the CM model number but it is about 2 years old and all cabling is new Rg6.

Unfortunately most of the stations I am looking for are VHF so the bow tie type won't cut it.

Leaning toward a CM 5018 or 5020 masterpiece series as they look more resilient to the weather.

Not much room to change height as if I go any higher wind becomes an issue with building a separate tower.

10G221 preamp.

Connect the DB8e antenna to the UHF connection of the preamp.

Connect the Y10-7-13 antenna to the VHF connection of the preamp.

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a , Holland Electronics , HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

Install a , Separate Antenna System , coaxes and HFS splitters , that go to each Tv location.

Install a DB8e antenna aimed at about 90 degree magnetic compass direction.

Install a Antenna Craft , 10G201 preamp.
