Rural Area / Long Distance Antenna Recommendation Please

I'm really glad I found this site! What frustration weeding through the scams and the lies on the web for something that appeared to be an easy task,,,,,buy an antenna that works for my location.
I've been reading what seems to be great advice here and before I pull the trigger on a purchase I would greatly value the advice from the community.

My signals will be coming from Houston and fortunately seem to be in a relatively common direction (NNE 24-25 degrees).

I'm mainly interested in the usual channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX,,,,,) and the other VHF and UHF within that reach.

Being in the south part of Texas the terrain is flat. I do have tall trees about 300 feet from the house in the direct of the NNE signals.

I put together different heights on the following TVF reports;
10 feet - http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda1238d8c34c
15 feet - http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda20efc0415a
20 feet - http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda7d76d8ca27
25 feet - http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda433c5e7f5f

Thanks in advance for your help!!

For reception of the North East Group of Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels in the , Green , Yellow , Red , reception zones down the channel list to at least and including KUHT VHF channel 8 , PBS Channels.

At about 25 feet above ground , install a Winegard HD7698P antenna aimed at about 25 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , do a good job of , absorbing , multi-path/reflecting , blocking , Digital Broadcast Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and house.

It is best practice to install the HD7698P antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and house.

The Tv's Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some Digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select , 'Air Channels' ~ 'Antenna CHannels'.
