Just as an FYI Canada is celebrating an "OTA Day" on the 1-Sep (the anniversary of Canada's DTV transition in 2011). It's a day to raise awareness of OTA and show appreciation to local broadcasters... best part for us OTA enthusiasts is that there are some good promos from some OTA online retailers
I'm very proud to announce, that my daughter ditched cable, for OTA last week.
She has a condo, so I am going to need to take a trip there to mount something.
For now though, I gave her a 4228 that I had lying around and she just props it up against her balcony railing.
I don't know how many channels she gets, but she told me that she gets the ones she wants, w/ no pixelation.
I'm just outside Toronto, Canada! We pick up all the locals as well as tons of that wonderful programming from Buffalo, NY! I get about 35 channels here ... all free!
Plus SuperBowl is always at my house since I get the real US commercials and not the boring Canadian ones
If you bump into any Canadians down in Wisconsin, wish them a happy OTA Day on Sep 1st!
