Dvr

Is there a DVR for HD digital antenna tv? if so who makes it and is it reliable?

Yes...

Several options.

I use SiliconDust HDHomeRun tuners. They connect to my home Ethernet LAN at 100 Mb/s. Recording and play back is done on my PC. http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=820
