GPS and Latitude/Longitude are Not the same. Tvfool uses Latitude/Longitude.

No, GPS coordinates are indeed latitude and longitude coordinates.
The difficulty is two-fold:
1) Lat/lon may be displayed in several different formats and GPS units aren't always consistent in how the manufacturers display the units. Some will use the format of degrees, minutes, and decimal seconds, others will use the format of degrees, and decimal minutes (the most common), and others will use the decimal-only format of dd.ddd.
2) TVFool's coordinate input service allows only the latter although google's mapping software, the underlying engine for display of the location, allows all three formats. I suggested to the admin quite a while back to open up the entry formats, but it remains the same.
Bottom line is that if the data is obtained in a format other than the dd.ddd format, it must be converted to that format for direct input into TVFool. Regardless of the presentation format, it's still latitude/longitude.
