Hauppauge WinTV USB2 model 42012
Hi,
I have this USB NTSC (analog) tuner. Is there any software that I can use to make this unit become a poor-man's signal meter?
Or maybe it just wont work since it's analog unit?
I guess all it's good for these days is to have as its input a DTV converter box?

Since an NTSC tuner will not be able to lock onto an ATSC signal, it can't really tell you anything about the ATSC signal. As far as the tuner is concerned, ATSC signals just look like an elevated noise floor.
