Antenna Recommedation

Nice website! I've ended my dish network. I've got RG6 coax cable running to a 4 foot pole with a little dish on top of it out in the yard about 10 feet from the house. I was wanting to use it to mount an antenna. This is my signal analysis report: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46ae489d31bcb7 . Would the attic be better since it's higher off the ground? What antenna should I be in the market for? Any advice would certainly be appreciated.

Practical and Useful Information

The Digital Broadcast Tv stations:channels are Weak Signal Strength at your reception location at the 5 foot antenna height above ground.

Please make and post 2 more tvfool radar plots and channel lists.

One at 25 feet antenna height above ground.

One at 40 feet antenna height above ground.

Do not delete the first tvfool report that is 5 feet antenna height above ground.

-----------

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative Effect on Broadcast Tv Reception

Absorbing , Blocking , Tv reception

Multi-path Reflections bouncing all around

And buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and building.

The Best Pratice is to install the antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and building.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the , DTV channels ~ Air Channels ~ Antenna Channels , in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable Tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable Tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select , DTV Channels ~ Air Channels ~ Antenna Channels.

Scan for channels.
