Intermittent break up

Hi all
I currently have a Radio Shack UHF antenna mounted about 4’ above my roof or about 15’ above ground. I’m not sure of the antenna model, bought it back in the analog days and it’s a directional yagi I think? I’ve aimed it through trial & error in the general direction of most of the Kansas City affiliate towers. I’m about 8300 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas.
My problem is I have intermittent macro block break up/freeze or 3 sec. black screen, somewhat more frequent with wind & rain. I don’t have a clear line-of-sight due to a thick line of 40’ pine trees surrounding the backyard.
From the antenna I have about 40’ of rg6 feeding to a distribution amp. The amp has two 15db outs which each feed a 4 way -7db splitter feeding drops throughout the house.
Here’s the signal analysis url http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...134924df610e3c
I would like to get as many area channels as possible except channel 16. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone has to solve the problem!

No matter what UHF antenna you use there will be some break up due to the tall pines.
You can minimize the problem if you set your or a new UHF antenna in a tripod mount and move it across your roof to find your best location. I think that the best antenna for you would be a 2 bay UHF aimed to 45 degrees magnetic. You will find this antenna at Antennas Direct or Pro Brand Intl.

Hi Electron, My antenna looks most like A Yagi Backed With a Corner Reflector. I tweaked the antenna to 45 degrees. The reception is about the same. Thanks-

Signals unlimited, what 2 bay UHF antenna would you recommend?

The Eagel Aspen DTV2BUHF should work well.
