Recent spam

Hi guys,

I've not been posting much at all lately, but apparently there are women signing up here and PMing me to uhm, maybe run some coax for them, if you know what I mean!

I was getting daily email alerts so I had to come edit my profile to stop the alerts.

Can new users be denied PM access until maybe either x number of posts or something? I was thinking that since most had 0 forum posts, that may help.

I know - first world problem for sure. No big deal. Just a thought.

Yeah, my PM box has been the recent recipient of spam including pornographic images and other messages in Cyrillic, presumably Russian. I've been forwarding them to the admin, maybe he will recognize that there's a problem.

Sadly, there doesn't appear to be any evidence that the owner/admin of the site is active regarding the forum. I only know of two moderators for the forum and, while both have visited the forum in the last week, have been pretty quiet.

In the meantime, I continue to get PMs from frustrated individuals who are seeking assistance but cannot get their registrations approved in a timely manner. I'm sure that other active members are experiencing the same patterns.

I also have had to turn off email alerts due to the spamming. If the spamming continues, I'll probably just restrict PMs to contacts and admins which is one of the more restrictive selections.

Back to work...

Yea this forum is crazy. I shut my PM's down completely. This site is not secure at all.
