There is a shortage of moderators; many have to wait for weeks. I can't help with activation, but I might be able to help with a reception problem.

if you don't care post this for me or let me know who to email to get my account set up to post
thanks
I can post for you or suggest another forum where you will not have to wait for activation. You can try an email here, but it might not do any good:

That is one of the most depressing reports I have ever seen.

we have a HD stacker 20 feet high and lna 200 preamp
at a heading of 34.28 we can not get the channels at that heading but when we point it at 205 heading we get the channels at that heading plus the ones at 34.28 and around 50 headings ( signal bouncing off of hills) most of the time 22 channels work ghreat but sometimes the uhf channel 23 cuts out a bit so we hooked up a lna 100 and lost channel 23
any one have nay ideas or is this the best we can do down in the hills ??
You are picking up many more channels than I would expect with that report. I don't understand 34.28, is that magnetic/true azimuth?

If you give me your exact address and the coordinates of your antenna by PM for privacy, I can look at the satellite view and signal lines to see if any improvement is possible. I will not post your address or exact coordinates on the forum.

Maybe the other forum members will have some useful suggestions.

If we continue this conversation, please be aware that you are now limited to 5 PMs; delete your earlier PMs so I don't get a message that your inbox is full.

This is an extract from your TVFool report:

WSAZ NBC 23 is missing from your TVFool report because they are using a defective database to generate reports. It shows on this report from rabbitears.info:

we have a big hill about 100 ft or less from us to our west i think the signal is bouncing off of that hill

in a few days i will try the antenna on the roof of my house which will get me about 6 feet higher

and we have a few cell towers to our south that may or may not be blocking some of the signals
thanks
Thank you for the additional information. A little extra height might help.

You can combine two identical antennas aimed in the same direction with equal length coax lines and a splitter in reverse to give you up to 2.5 dB additional gain, but there is no guarantee that it will help you at your location. Usually, your time is better spent in finding the best location for the antenna you already have.

also 36 feet above ground level i lost the bounce signals
so seems i get the bounce signals best at around 20 some feet above ground level

thanks
That makes perfect sense. You have to put your antenna in the spot that has the strongest reflection.
