It looks like the Verdugo mountain range is obstructing your view of Mt Wilson. You are in a fairly deep shadow so to speak. I would not look to an omnidirectional antenna in your situation. You need an antenna capable of gathering a weak signal, for example:

Many antennas with built in amplifiers are prone to signal overload. In a metropolitan area like Burbank there are likely many sources or RF interference that could pose a problem to an amplifier designed for low signal levels. You will need an amplifier though, so I would suggest one capable of high input levels. For example:

Aim at about 65° according to your compass. The antenna will perform much better if located outside, clear of obstructions. Generally, the higher you mount the antenna, the better. But in your case, even a 100' tower will not give you a clear line of site. Therefor, be prepared to experiment with the exact mounting height and aim point.
