Antenna and Reception Issues in Raleigh

I have been using a Mohu Leaf successfully for about 18 months and have received strong signals to ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS. There was a period of time when ABC (channel 11) had horrible reception and often was not picked up. Subsequently, ABC came in clear, and now NBC (17) fails to see any signal.

I wonder if it is due to the fact that Mohu is optimized for UHF and those two channels are VHF.

I am looking for suggestions on how to return to full signal reception on both ABC and NBC as well as PBS/ABC/CBS.

Any help or suggestion on the optimum set up for this location? Any reason why I would receive NBC strong for over a year and then have it fail completely so suddenly?

Thanks in advance.

That's very likely.

I'd consider using an RCA ANT-751R or Antennas Direct C2-V (which includes a VHF dipole and combiner). I'd also favor outdoor mounting to avoid the interference generated by motorized appliances and electronics in the home.
