Northern Virginia and West Virginia

Good signal here in Smithsburg Maryland from WVPY in Front Royal Virginia. So strong, in fact, that it's difficult to get WHP in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, which is on the same frequency. WVPY has the "Create" network, which my cable provider apparently doesn't even have yet. On the other hand, WGAL, real channel eight, in Lancaster Pennsylvania, fifty-seven miles away, blocked by a ridge hundreds of feet higher than my house, is plenty strong, but I can't get anything from W08EE in Martinsburg West Virginia at less than thirty miles, also on channel eight. Not that I'm complaining, since I watch WGAL, but maybe the FCC should reevaluate it's television transmitter separation distances.
