Hi all,
I hope this hasn't been asked before (based on my searches, it hasn't).
I plan to install an antenna in the balcony of a friend who lives on the 10th floor of a modern apartment building. I'm wondering how I would ground that antenna. Is there access to the building's main ground? Is the ground on the wall outlets strong enough for the job? I'm assuming lightning won't hit a 20-something floor building on the 10th (even if there's an antenna on it), but is the building's ground enough to dissipate the static build up, etc.? Also, would asking the building manager help or would they just road block since they wouldn't want to risk anything?
Thanks in advance.
