Need help in choosing an antenna

Hello,
This is my report:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...c08dceef6d1e73

I know that I cannot expect to have more than 7 stations at the most, but some are due east and the others are to the west. I had a flat indoor one at one time and got 5 stations-no WSAZ or WPBY. I got a recommendation to try the HD Blade, but am kind of skeptical. I was considering an attic-mounted one. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
Thanks

The provided tvfool report says , Address was only resolved to the block level.

Hurricane WV area is a very rough terrain area with lots of gullies and hills and mountains.

And the provided tvfool report has no antenna height above ground entered in the report so it is the default 10 feet antenna height.

Not good.

Please make and post 2 tvfool reports with correct and accurate addresses.

One report 25 feet antenna height above ground.

Second report 40 feet antenna height above ground.

________

If accurate address function does not work , then go to the tvfool home page , click on , >>Start MAPS<< , move the pointer to your exact location , enter in antenna height , click on , Make Radar Map.

The stations to east are so close and so strong, that you don't really need to point an antenna at them to pick them up. I'd focus my energy on the stations to the west. Even those stations are strong, so a small directional antenna like the RCA ANT751 or AntennaCraft HBU11K should be OK. For a better chance at WPBY, you might go with something slightly larger like the Winegard HD7694P.

Do not get anything with an amplifier in it. The signals are strong enough to overload an amp, so don't bother. With signals this strong, you don't need one anyway.

You main improvement will come from getting the antenna up higher with less "clutter" around it. If you current antenna is in the living room, it's picking up a fair amount of signal reflections from the stuff around it. An attic install will have less interference, and an outdoor mount will have even less than that.

Also, was I correct in being skeptical about the HD Blade antenna?

The HD Blade antenna and other Flat antennas and other types of small indoor antennas.

The implied claims of having 'Super fantastic reception power' are misleading.

The Truth --> Small indoor type antennas , by the very nature of the act , will have limited reception.

The tvfool reports with correct address and antenna heights of 25 and 40 feet are very close to the same reception situation as the first tvfool report.

mtownsend recommendations of antennas will work Ok.
