WRCJ correction

WRCJ-FM transmits 42kW

Thanks for the note!

It looks like our database already has WRCJ at 42 kW. Do you see it listed otherwise somewhere?

When I do a signal locater search, it shows up as 4.94kW in the table. Is that a different database?

Ahh. That power level is the effective radiated power based on the directional antenna information filed with the FCC. The 42 kW represents the max ERP of the transmitter setup, but some directions will get less than that.

Here is the FCC's service contour map for WRJC:


The power levels shown in the signal reports have already been adjusted for radiation pattern depending on the location entered by the user.
