We receive WUNC EX but its not no report

We live in Weyers Cave, Virginia (24486), and I was watching WUNC EX (25.3?) this morning. It was "coming and going", so decided to check its direction in hopes of getting a more constant signal, but it's not on the report. Thanks

If you received WUNC in Weyers Cave, VA, then you may rest assured that it was due to tropospheric ducting or some other atmospheric anomaly. WUNC EX is The Explorer Channel. It is one of four sub-channels carried by North Carolina's public broadcasting network. When you received WUNC EX, you should have been able to receive WUNC's other three subchannels equally well. However, there is simply no way for you to reliably receive a North Carolina broadcast in Weyer's Cave.
