Antenna setup recommendation

Hello All,
Here is my tvfool report:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...5b9447fec941ff
I would like some recommendations for an Antenna, amp, etc. I will be mounting this on the roof, so the height is @37ft. I was thinking about a rotator, so any input on that would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

As the other poster advised, your dead in the water for ota.

An 8 foot (minimum) c band dish pointed at 99w, would give u nbc, abc fox and metv.

You can get a hd fta satellite receiver off ebay for $35-50. And eight foot dish will be pretty expensive, they are very heavy to ship.

If u post an ad on craigslist, u can easily find an old one people want removed, many times for free.

Unless you have the budget, skill set and desire to go to extreme measures, FTA and internet services appear to be your only realistic options.

Remote hilltop antennas and remote receivers would fall into the 'extreme measures' category. http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=1286

Because so many people know days do not know.

This Is Not The Old Days of Satellite Tv.

______________

This is the New Age of Free Satellite Tv.

FTA Free Satellite Tv for the -->Purpose Of Providing-->FREE--> to receive satellite Tv has been available since 1997.

Free Satellite Tv dish sizes are 2 different sizes type systems , KU Band and C-Band.

______________

1. The Small Dish is about 30 inch to 40 inch size dish , KU Band satellite systems.

______________

2. The Big Dish systems are a minimum size of 6 feet with 8 and 10 feet size dish being better for reception. And are known as the C-Band satellite systems.

______________

DO NOT buy used receivers off of e-bay or any where else.

Used receivers are , asking for trouble.

New receivers do not cost that much and have the latest technology and capability.
