How many channels?

How many channels do you think I could get with a good antenna. It would most likely have outside as I have a steel roof on my house and I'm guessing an attic antenna wouldn't work with that.

With a large high gain antenna mounted on a rotator, at 40 feet above ground... your report suggests sixteen or more. That assumes that the analog stations shown, are not to be shut down soon.

Tv Antennas and Reception

Looking at the pending applications for digital channels , I see minimum of 11 digital channels. I recommend a Winegard HD7698P antenna , http://www.canadapost.ca/shopper/ite...7698P?local=en , and a Antennas Direct CPA-19 preamp. Aimed at about 184 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. I do not recommend a rotor.
