Which indoor antenna for this poor TVFool report?

Hello All,

I generated the following report for my address:

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...9900238d829558

I'm a newbie here, and a newbie to the antenna world. So any direction you can provide would be greatly appreciated. From the report above, it does not look like I will be able to receive too many stations with an indoor antenna. However, we are renting a house, and not looking to do anything extensive right now. We mainly just want an antenna that will give us a strong signal for the stations we should be able to receive, and possibly a few extras.

Right now, we just have a cheap Phillips antenna that receives all the stations we should receive, but does not generate a strong signal (to be expected). Based on the above report, would it be better to get an amplified antenna like the Terk HDTVa, or a non-amplified like the Mohu Leaf? Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

Tv Reception.

Please make a second tvfool radar report with the antenna height at 25 feet above the ground.

It looks like it will take a antenna mounted above the roof to receive more Digital Tv stations/channels.

__________

For better reception and better antenna placement.

Is this a , house , town home , condo , apartment , mobile home , motor home , or etc. ??

For better reception and better antenna placement .

If a apartment etc. , what floor?? , what is the top floor ?? , What directions are the windows ?? . What directions patios or balconies ??

_______________________

With Higher antenna height .

Looks like .

WITN , NBC and MyNetwork and Me-Tv and Local Weather.

WCTI , ABC and Live Well Network and This Tv.

WNCT , CBS and The CW Plus.

Will come into reliable reception range.

Teleview,

Thanks for the reply. I live in a 1 story house with windows on all four sides. Mounting on the roof is not something we are looking to get involved with, as we have less than a year left on our lease. I'm looking to keep it simple with an indoor antenna. Any recommendations there?

Thanks again!

Tv Reception.

Nothing for inside the house.

There are No Magic Tv Antennas.

If you will like to receive the listed Digital Tv stations/channels , try a Winegard HD7694P in the attic aimed at about 40 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

A much better location for the Tv antenna to receive those Weak Tv stations channels to the north east is , above the roof.

Here is a antenna mount that does not make holes in the roof , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , buy at http://www.solidsignal.com.

Also there is the common J mounts that the small satellite dishes are mount on.
