Antenna Advice? Gulf Breeze, FL

I have a DB8 antenna from AntennasDirect.com that I installed in January 2006. It is mounted roughly fifteen feet high, about level with the roof peak. It is pointed approximately West-Southwest.

My report from this site is at:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...a36211e2f7c2d2

I get a good number of channels, but the CW (55.1) channel has a weak signal and the FOX (10.1) channel is not received at all. The reason I need to improve the 55.1 CW channel is that my TIVO doesn't include 44.1 CW in my lineup. There are other channels that find just enough signal for my TV to tell me their ID, but not enough signal to get a picture.

Would an antenna amplifier help? Do I need a better antenna? Or am I simply outside the limit for these channels. I do use an indoor distribution amplifier.

The channels I do get are:
ABC WEAR 3.1
CBS WKRG 5.1, 5.2, 5.3
NBC WPMI 15.2, 15.2
IND WMPV 21.1, 21.2, 21.3, 21.4, 21.5
PBS WSRE 23.1, 23.2, 23.3, 23.4
IND WHBR 33.1
IND WFGX 35.1, 35.2
CW WJTC 44.1
CW WFNA 55.1

Try pointing the "business" face of the DB8 west-NORTHwest. 55.1 should be easily received with the DB8 properly aimed.

Channel 10.1 most probably will require the addition of a high-VHF antenna such as our C5 to be received. Sadly, WALA is both the only high-VHF station and the only Fox affiliate within receiving range of your location and will require a either a separate high-VHF antenna added to your existing UHF antenna or would require swapping it out for a competitor's long-range 7-69 combo.

Tv Reception

The business side of the antenna is the side of the antenna that has the V shaped metal receiving elements. The screen part of the antenna is a reflector that reflects signal to the V shaped metal receiving elements. If the side of the screen that has no V shaped metal receiving elements is directed to the tv signal , the signal is reflected away and can not reach the V shaped metal receiving elements.
