Greetings Millercd,

Your plot features high-VHF (real channels 7-13) and UHF (real channels 14 and up) stations.

If I were attempting to receive the majority of Seattle broadcasts, I'd choose an Antennacraft HBU33 orientated to magnetic 170 for testing purposes. http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp...sku=1607900500 Perform TV tuner scan once system is hooked up.

It is also suggested you install the antenna outdoors mounted on your roof with the clearest pathway to the south.

How many TVs do you want to feed? What is your length of coax run going to be? If you are planning more than two feeds way may need to discuss a distribution amplifier.

Cheers.

The install would be on the roof about 21' from grade. Only feeding one tv with abou 70 ' of coax run.

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative Effect on Broadcast Tv Reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and building.

Some and not all Negative Effects are.

The Best Practice is to install the HBU44 antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and building.

Alright.

70' into one TV isn't bad. A preamp isn't recommended.

How is your line of sight to the south?

You should pick up multiple versions of KCPQ FOX. In addition to primary broadcast on RF 13, you should see K29ED-D which rebroadcasts KZJO and KCPQ. Possibly the same for KIRO CBS. K17IZ-D retransmits KIRO for Everett. Even though RF 17 is a little out of your beam, you may see it addition to KIRO's main feed on RF 39.

It's similar to what I have with KXLY. They have multiple broadcasts in the market. I have deleted out all the instances of KXLY out of my channel line up except the one signal that is strongest and most reliable.

Best of luck.
