Suggestions for best antenna setup

I would like to get some input on what would be my best choice for an antenna to pick up the local channels out of Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and surrounding area. Thanks in advance.

While the signals from both markets are receivable for the most part, one antenna will not be able to provide simultaneous reception of the weaker signals from both directions.

For maximum reception of both markets, point a Winegard HD7698P + RCA TVPRAMP1R preamplifier toward Indianapolis. Aim an Antennas Direct 91XG or DB8e + TVPRAMP1R toward Fort Wayne.

Combining the two antennas is theoretically possible, but would be cost prohibitive given the needed tuned filters. Instead, consider one of these options: http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=2882

I recommend reception of the Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels to the , South West , West , South , South East.
More Tv stations and channels.

------

Most of the Tv stations to the , North East are weaker of signal strength and not as many channels.

------

For reception of the Tv stations to the South West and etc. .

Above the Peak of the Roof on such a manner that reception is not , obstructed , impeded , blocked , by the roof and building in the directions of , South West , West , South , South East , North East , install a , www.antennacraft.net HBU55 or Winegard HD8698P antenna aimed at about 215 degree magnetic compass direction.
Here is how to aim antennas , www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html .

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antenna.

---------

Install a , www.channelmasterstore.com , CM7778 preamplifier.

---------

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a , Holland Electronics , HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a , Holland Electronics , HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

Buy the HFS splitters at , www.solidsignal.com .

--------

Here are some above the roof antenna mounts.

www.ronard.com/909911.html
Use the , ronard(911) , 5 foot tripod antenna mount.

www.ronard.com/34424560.html
Use the , ronard(4560) , eave antenna mount.

www.ronard.com/ychim.html
Measure around the chimney and use a , ronard(2212) , ronard(2218) , ronard(2224) .

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at , www. solidsignal.com , by typing , ronard (x) , in the solidsignal search box or buy from , www.ronard.com .

------

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the ~ DTV Channels ~ Antenna Channels ~ Air Channels ~ in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable Tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable Tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select ~ DTV Channels ~ Antenna Channels ~ Air Channels ~.

Scan for channels.

The CM-7778 and TVPRAMP1R are interchangeable in your application. I'd shop based on price.
