Can't get NBC or Fox

I just installed a Terk HDTVo antenna in my attic. I am receiving most of the channels but am having trouble getting the fox and NBC channels on one tv and just the NBC channel on the other.
Any help with positioning my antenna would be greatly appreciated

Tv Reception.

The following is a Teleview Recommendation for Tv reception.

Aim the antenna at about 230 degrees magnetic compass direction. (south west).

As always , the starting antenna aim direction is the -> starting aim direction , the antenna can be turned to the left and right to find the direction that has the best reception.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Most attics have electric power to plug in the power supply/power injector for the antenna.

Have All parts of the antenna and power supply/injector before the input of the splitter.

Use a common simple 3 way splitter.

Use no other splitters , Every time a split takes place the signal strength is reduced.

Coax cable and connections are Always suspect of being bad.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

It is best install the antenna at a location where there are the least amount or no amount of obstructions in the direction of reception.

Also attics that have , metal backed insulation , a metal roof , thick roof tiles , solar panels , stucko with stucko Wire on attic end walls and the antenna is aimed at the stucko Wire , All of these will reduce or block reception.

Tv antennas like to have elbow room with nothing obstructing reception.

Most likely will help to mount the antenna above the roof in a manner that the antenna has the least amount to no amount of obstructions in the direction of reception.

A much better antenna for reception at your location is a Winegard HD7696P antenna with no preamplifier.
