If you look at the chart you can see that WPSD is very weak at -2.6. I think for any chance at receiving it reliably you are going to have to mount a large antenna. A home brew antenna is fun to do...

Howdy neighbor! Looks like you're a little ways north of me somewhat.

Well, first thing, if you're getting cable over that coax, you've got problems. Your antenna needs a free coax for it's own...

I'd assume your best signal reception for each problem channel is when you point right at each, although if blocked dead ahead, a little left or right tweak may boost your gain.

Well, by design, the bow tie is for UHF reception. The Leaf has two bow ties (similar to an Eagle Aspen dtv2buhf, minus the reflector). Sure, put it near a strong VHF signal and it will pick it up,...

The Mohu is UHF only and will not reliably tune the VHF signals in your area. Half the antenna at twice the price is not a good deal by any means.

An omnidirectional might look like the way to...

WMC is VHF-Lo. The coathanger bowtie won't tune that. You could aim direct with an Antenna Craft Y526 connected with a UVSJ to your existing cable. But if you were to do that, maybe you'd be...

Call me old school but I'm skeptical of antennas hidden away in plastic. To me that's a sign that they know they couldn't sell you on a thin film of aluminum for $50. That's not to say it won't...

I think that chart is pretty clear. Who needs a TV at the lake house anyway! Good fishing and a good book - nothing but peace and quiet.

The leaf is UHF only. On your report, look at the box on the bottom left that's showing the VHF channels. Don't expect to get those with the leaf. You need an antenna rated for UHF+VHF reception....

I'm probably about a good hours drive south of the Mooresville area, somewhere on the other side of the towers.

And I think they got you squared away on the broadcast resolutions. Only a BluRay...

Any idea what the antenna is? A photo would be good to help id it.

We can't dx your coax condition. Old coax *could be* a problem if moisture gets in. The best way to test is to run a fresh...

Aereo

So what do you think about Aereo?

If you aren't familiar with it yet, basically think of it as OTA sent to your connected devices, as a method of receiving your local OTA. Don't want to put up an...

Your antenna will get it's job done the best when it has a clear view of the horizon in the direction of the towers. Trees, buildings, etc are not reception friendly. Sometimes,...
