If loss is 3.5 per split, why is it 3.5 x 3? Why not 3.5 x 8 = 28 db loss?

Even with the time set to auto and was correct, the DST, (Daylight Savings Time) was checked on. Never occurred to me think that was what DST stood for. Sigh.
