Radio Shack, before their bankruptcy, carried one. You might contact any remaining local stores and see if they still stock it. Catalog # 15-0024. Other than that, there are no retailers that carry one.
The FM filter almost always goes before the first amplifier. |

The Radio Shack FM filter is not suitable for your location. It will not attenuate WFDD on 88.5 MHz because it is designed to allow reception of CH 6 TV. It does well at the high end.
http://www.fmfool.com/modeling/tmp/c...9/Radar-FM.png The Antennas Direct FM filter is just the opposite. It does well at the low 88 MHz end but not as well at the 108 MHz end. http://forum.tvfool.com/attachment.p...0&d=1441159109 The MCM does well at both ends. http://forum.tvfool.com/attachment.p...1&d=1441159163 You can use a HLSJ as an FM filter. It has low loss and attenuates everything below TV CH7 including the FM band. http://forum.tvfool.com/attachment.p...0&d=1447018218 http://forum.tvfool.com/attachment.p...1&d=1447018564 http://forum.tvfool.com/attachment.p...2&d=1447019361 |
