Antenna pre-amplifier question. How do I choose a preamplifier? I am looking at two models from winegard. Ap8800 and ap8725. I live about 35 miles away from Atlanta in a heavily wooded hilly area. I have a Clearstream 4 and a winegard boost pre-amp (gain is 20vhf and 15uhf) and a distribution amp. I currently get about 63 channels. Channel 8 pixalates, but is clear early in the morning. I want to improve that weak signal with a better pre-amp.
