Help choosing an attic antenna

TV Signal Analysis: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...8e03c549ab11f3

Looking for a HDTV attic Antenna as I move to OTA. My 2 TVs are already wired to cable splitter from cable tv. The channel towers I want to pickup are between 2 and 10 miles away but are spread over a wide area (see antenna analysis). Would an omni-directional antenna be best or a multi-directional do the job? Would I need an amplified antenna?

Thanks, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

It looks like all that something like the Xtreme signal HDB8X for $49.95 from Solid Signal may be your best bet

It has good gain and a wide beamwidth and you can direct one antenna toward one tower and the other toward the other

And with the gain of the 4 bay bowtie design, you should have plenty of signal without the need for an amplifier
