Need Your Suggestions And Help

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46aec1c68cb2c3

Hi Everyone,

I cut the cord this past April and honestly did not miss it until NFL season began. It is the hardest addiction to break and I was hoping that you good people could help me with what possibilities I have.

Last month I moved on the same street my Grandfather lived when I was a child. I recall back then that he had an antenna that was taller than his two story house and it was controlled by an electronic controller hooked up to the tv that had a compass. You turned the compass to the desired direction and it would electronically turn the antenna.

Anyway, I was wondering am I in the same boat he was in in the 1970's or what options I may have here.

Thank you to everyone taking the time to help a fool like myself.

Like your grandfather, you'll benefit from mounting high, clear of obstructions such as nearby trees and buildings. I don't see the need for a rotator though.

Consider a Winegard HD7698P + Antennas Direct PA-18 preamplifier - or - the slightly higher performance combination of an Antennas Direct DB8e + Antennacraft Y10713 + UVSJ + Antennas Direct PA-18.

Aimed due south, you have the opportunity to receive a nice line-up of networks and additional programing.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
