here is the channnels i get:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...03d9c6117eac23
It's a 30inch Mast, and I would say it's roughly 30ft. off the ground. I bought the xg91 because it was highly reccomended at the time, but here's my problem with it. It's very directional, and the direction i keep it pointed at is at Charlotte but the stations are 60+miles away. It picks up fine some days, but cloudy days or if its raining its bad...i also have 2 huge oak tree's that during the summer when all the leaves are out, causes some issues it seems but during the winter it was ok.
This is why i'm wanting to try this 4228 model, in hopes it will pick up some of the locals closer to me without having to shoot towards Charlotte. Obviously if i had a rotar it would fix my problem, but i don't have one and i don't plan to install one the way i have it right now. If i had it on a pole that was mounted in the ground i would, but not the way i have it now.
Someone mentioned I should buy this:

but with that it looks like i'll be drilling holes in my roof which i'm not so sure about that. I was also thinking maybe i could run a side mount right by that eave (not sure of size), somehow attach it with a bracket to the eave, and just do it that way vs. using a J-mount but again i just don't know...i was told by putting in an extension that 30inch one that mount will fail and damage both the home and the equipment due to excessive wind load..
Thanks for any info you can provide on this
