need help with reception

i have a rca 751r outdoor antenna with a rca amplifier. bring in cw, nbc, cbs. would like to get abc and fox. by looking signal locater it looks like they should be coming in. the area i live in has alot of trees. is there another antenna that maybe could help us with reception?

It sounds as if the ANT-751 is doing OK with WBIR (real CH-10) and WKNX (real CH-7). It also sounds as if the modest UHF gain of the ANT-751 and the trees are combining to limit your UHF reception.

Consider adding an Antennas Direct DB8E + RCA TVPRAMP1R preamplifier. The RCA preamp has inputs for separate antennas. Connect the DB8E to the UHF input and the ANT-751R to the VHF input.

Also, if possible, select a mounting location that has the least amount of obstruction such as trees or building laterals.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
