OTA Reception In McKinney, TX

Hello, I am new to the forum and I am planning on installing an antenna in my attic, second story, for OTA reception. I need feedback from anyone in the McKinney, TX area that has done this and any recommendations as to equipment used, etc. Being almost 50 miles or so from the towers I am not sure how to do this. Thanks.

Please read the Guidelines when asking for help. There you'll find instructions on how to generate a TV Fool reception report. Post a link to your report... and we'll be able to understand your signal conditions and offer tailored advise.

Use your Exact address to make a tvfool radar plot report.

Make the antenna height 25 feet above ground.

How many Tv's are/will be connected??
