I have an existing antenna that i had when I had (look tv) its sits at the peak of my roof on my house. Can I use this as an antenna to get channels or do i need a diffrent type of antenna. As far as setting up the tv to recieve channels I am un-aware of what I need. In fact I am still with starchoice and also have a dish from them that is located on the back of my house which I believe that both dishes are facing south. The location of my house is 95 mondavi road L4H 1L8. please help me get started as i am very new to this.
If the address is correct then you have a good location to receive the Canada Digital Broadcast Tv Stations and the American Digital Broadcast Tv Stations. I recommend the Winegard HD7698P antenna , http://www.canadapost.ca/shopper/ite...H-BAND-HD7698P. To point the antenna , start with the antenna pointed at about 170 degree magnetic compass and turn the antenna to the left and right for the strongest reception of the American stations. Here is how to point Tv antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html , The HD7698P antenna will supply signal to 1 or 2 Tv's. How many Tv's will be connected??

Mount the antenna on a Strong and Sturdy mount , tripod mount , chimney mount , peak of the roof eave mount. Use RG-6 coax cable through out the antenna system , both outside the house and inside the house. How many Tv's will be connected??
