Question Signal interference

Any help with signal interference? Have an attic antenna with amplifier/fm trap. Appx 50 mi from Denver signal sources, signals seem fairly strong (70 - 90 on scale of 100). Interference affects different channels at different times. During football playoffs, the playoff channels were affected - sound breaking up, picture choppy, freezing, loss of signal. Interference seems to occur at about 2 minute intervals, and lasts from a couple seconds to about 20 seconds. During the Super Bowl, channel 9 was the most affected station, and was nearly impossible to watch. Today 9 is fairly clean, but channel 7 has the interference.
