time for some advice, interested in digital signals only, no analogue

The equipment I have access to
Winegard HD7698P
Winegard ANWI8700 Winegard AP Signal Amplifier
Channel Master CM 7777 TITAN2 UHF/VHF PREAMPLIFIER CM7777

Okay so I have one antenna pointed between 11 and 16 deg picking up WBOC 16 and WMDT 47

So we want the full set NBC ect at 228 and 227 deg, channel 31 WAVY is a must.

I know the report has channels 45 degrees, these digital channels do not exist.

So gents with the equipment i have how high does the antenna have to be,and which preamp to use???

The 7777 has 30 db gain UHF/VHF the 8700 is below 20 (around 17db). With the HD7896P you should be OK at 30 ft. but if you have any doubt go 40 ft. If you want to receive the channels from all directions on your report (except the ones that don't exist) you need a rotor.

Accomack County operates the four translator stations at the top of your TVFool report: W30CI 14 that repeats WAVY, W39CS 18 that repeats WTKR, W25AA 25 that repeats WHRO, and W34DN 34 that repeats WVEC. Those are still your best bets for getting the originating stations. The County has the permits from the FCC to put these digital translators on the air. You can find the point of contact for the county in the application posted here.

What you have access to is about the best you can do, short of going with separate UHF and VHF antennas (which won't be that much better.) Put it up, and if you don't get the Hampton Roads stations directly, be prepared to swing to the northeast when the digital translator sign on.
