A simple solution to receive the stations at 32-34 true North.

Install an RCA ANT751 antenna. This will mount on a satellite 'J' pole such as the Winegard DS3000, for ease of installation on the side of your home. If you mount in a spot with a 360 view, you may receive the strong stations located to the rear of the antenna.

I was thinking I would need a little bigger outside antenna. Something like the Winegard HD 7697P. Your suggestion would save on money and installation time.

My recommendation is based on the signal strength of the stations you want to receive and the mention that you are not intrested in the 2 edge.

If that is so, based on recommendation of the 751 to many with great results reported in areas with similar signal strength. "Save the bucks".

Another advantage (may or may not be important to you) of the 751 is that is less directional than the larger antenna and should receive more channels from the rear of the antenna.

I would personally not use anything less the the Winegard 7694 with those estimated signal strengths. The ANT-751 may work, but may prove un-reliable when reception conditions deteriorate. I always like to go at least one size larger as TV Fools is not always accurate.

Your location has Many receivable Digital Tv stations channel of 2 directions.

To the south west and north east.

Above the roof install a ANT751 antenna with a Antennas Direct CPA-19 preamp , aimed at about 14 degree magnetic compass direction.

The ANT751 does have some forward direction antenna gain for the reception of WPXC , ION Tv at at about 14 degree magnetic compass , and also the ANT751 is not a very directional antenna so the ANT751 receives good of All directions.

For your reception the Tv stations are to the front and back of the antenna.

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a great job of reducing and blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

Mount the antenna at a location that has the least amount of obstructions or no obstructions to the , south west and north east.

Solidsignal has a ANT751 that comes with a J mount antenna mount for low dollars.

I disagree. After installing a few ANT-751's, I don't find them to work that well at receiving from the sides. Like other directional antennas, it recieves best from the front & then the back, but poorly from the sides. The beamwidth is certainly a little more forgiving than most directionals, but not an omnidirectional solution.

Have you ever actually used the ANT-751?

To take advantage of TV signals to my NE and to my SW what setup should I use? Two antennas with two cables to sum sort of tuner, what kind and type? OR, One antenna with rotor, what kind and type?

Again, I live in a MH, will mount outside just above roof height, and will only have one HDTV with a single tuner. Will only try to receive signals LOS and 1EDGE. Not going to bother with 2EDGE and TROPO.

Can someone please tell me the difference in the ANT751 and the ANT751R?

Splitting hairs , one could say that the ANT751R is a -->slightly<-- better antenna then the ANT751. Manufactures make small changes to a product and then say new and improved.

In this case the antenna has been retuned a little to improve performance a little in the UHF Tv band.

This slight improvement will not stop the rotation of Earth and it will not change history.

It is nothing to go off the deep end over.
