Ready to ditch the cable bill

Like so many others, I am ready to cut the cord. Here is my analysis
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3df1f045ae862af2

I would like the signal to reach my hdhomerun as well as one tv. Ideally, the antenna will be placed in my attic. There are so many choices but have been thinking about trying the ClearStreamâ„¢ 1 Convertible Medium Range Indoor/Outdoor DTV Antenna. Would this be appropriate or am I way off base? Any other suggestions?

thanks
rob

You'd need to add the VHF-1 Retrofit Kit to the C1C. The C2V already includes it and its available in most Walmart and Best Buy stores nationwide. Purchase RG6 coaxial cable separately on an as-needed basis.

WPVI operates on VHF channel 6 which is outside the design band of the VHF element, but they run a ton of power to help penetrate buildings for indoor antenna users. Consequently, we've found that the standard VHF element performs adequately in most cases within 20 miles of the Roxborough (depending on other variables).

The "conventional" recommendation would be for a small all-channel antenna. You *might* find that necessary as your backup idea.
