Hi,
Looking to determine the best antenna to receive the top 12 stations from my tvfool report (94 degrees, 35 miles), and what setup you would recommend to split the signal to 4 TVs throughout the house. The antenna will be roof mounted, about 20 ft above ground level (can go as high as 24 if needed. The cable runs vary from 35ft to 80ft in length, and they will be to 4 separate TVs. From the antenna, each tv is 35ft, 45ft, 60ft and 80ft (cable length) respectively. 20ft up: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46ae480f8f06b0 24ft up: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46ae4395e75f19 Appreciate opinions on antennas and splitter / amp setup. |
The signal from WIWN on real CH-5 calls for an all channel antenna such as:
Winegard HD7084P Channel Master CM3018 Antennacraft C490 Consider the following preamplifiers: Winegard HDP-269 Antennacraft 10G201 Channel Master CM-7778 If the splitter must be located between the preamplifier (outside at the antenna) and the the preamp power supply (inside, protected from the elements), Antennas Direct offers splitters that pass power. http://www.antennasdirect.com/store/splitters.html If you don't need the power passing feature, Ideal brand splitters at Home Depot or Amazon will serve well. |
