Tv Reception.

This is a different location then your other post.

Is this a , house , town home , condo , mobile home , motor home , or , etc.??

If an apartment or etc. , what floor?? , What is the top floor??

What directions are windows?? What directions are patios/balconies??

Make a second tvfool radar report with the antenna height 25 feet.

How many Tv's are/will be connected??

Yep - we recently moved to South-Central Arkansas. We will be in a rental house, so my options for outdoor antenna may be limited to a free-standing pole. If possible, I would prefer at least trying an attic antenna, although I know I am greatly reducing signal strength. It is likely just for 1 HD TV, although I may want to consider option for adding a split to an older TV.

Tv Reception.

The first 2 Digital Tv stations are what will be received with a antenna in the attic , If that is Ok with you then install a Winegard HD7696P antenna with a Channel Master CM7778 preamp in the attic aimed at about 12 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

For reception of more then 2 digital Tv stations install a Winegard HD7696P antenna with a Winegard AP8700 preamp aimed at about 12 degree magnetic compass direction.
Above the roof or at a location that is Up High free and clear of obstructions , as always trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of , reducing or blocking reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Here are 2 antenna mounts that do not make holes in the roof , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html, buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box.

http://www.3starinc.com , has push up antenna mounting poles.

Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.winegarddirect.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.channelmasterstore.com.
__________

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.

Buy the HFS splitter at , http://www.hollandelectronics.com , also at , http://www.solidsignal.com.
___________

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.
