TV Fool Report from http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=6776 --- http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d403391070aeb02

Based on this I would expect an RCA ANT-751 pointing at about 320° to receive the stations NW and SE of you. That is, if you mount outdoors and high enough that both the front and back of the antenna are not blocked by the roof or other construction.

The Channel Master CM-7000 is worth looking at. http://www.channelmasterstore.com/Digital_to_Analog_Converter_Box_p/cm-7000.htm

Amazon has several STB/DTV converters, though the choices change nearly day to day it seems.

A 2-year old TV shouldn't need a converter box. Inclusion of a digital tuner became mandatory for sets sold in the US as of March 2007.

You're right, the good old CM-7000 has been superseded by the CM-7001.

Also look at the Zinwell ZAT-970A, Digital Stream DTX9950 and Magnavox TB110MW9

Splitter ports need to be terminated with a tuner or a 75 ohm resistor (http://www.antennasdirect.com/store/F_termination_cap.html). This can be done at the splitter or at the end of the cable if already run.

Install a Channel Master CM3000A antenna above the roof. Here are some roof mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html For one tv connection do not use a splitter. For 2 tv connections use a 2 way splitter. For 3 tv connections use a 3 way splitter. For 4 tv connections use a 4 way splitter. Here are places to by antennas and etc. , http://www.channelmasterstore.com , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.starkelectronic.com , http://www.3starinc.com

A quick look at your updated TVFR confirms that you should get good results with the ANT-751.

[1 st ? would i still need to GroundMyMast]

I chose to ground my mast and coax, each as separate steps. The ground wires come together only at the electrical service ground. http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=901

Have you tried pointing the antenna at KWKB? If reception of their signal is of interest to you, you may find you'll still receive the stronger signals through the back of the antenna.

Will work on grounding next couple of days 30 to 40 miles per hour today.
The ANT is mounted with the kit on the gable end of the garage. I think it worked out good it put the ANT about 1' over the ridge of the roof the ridge of the roof runs pretty much east west. Set my ANT at 320 like you said earlier
Marty
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you an yours

If you can still find them I highly recommend the Zenith DTT-901. The Digital Streams have heat problems and tend to burn themselves up, plus their sensitivity is horrible.
