Newbie needs antenna help

Western Massachusetts is my location. I am not very tech savvy, but will learn!

Looking to cut the cord by the middle of March, when My DTV sub. ends.

I am going to try to use a eaves mount on the south side of a ranch home. Total height would be about 20'...ground to peak 15 feet and a 5' mast. I have three tv's in the house that I would like to service. They are all new 2012 and up, so I'd imagine they are all set to accept OTA reception.

Any help on selection of a good antenna set-up , would be appreciated.

It depends on what you want, but if this were me I'd go for the channels at the NE and SSW. Almost all of your stations are UHF. For these I'd use a Antennas Direct DB-8e with one panel at roughly 60 degrees on a compass and the other at 200 degrees.

You have one VHF-HI station (NBC Real Channel 11). It is likely powerful enough to be picked up by your DB-8e. Certainly worth trying before buying anything (like an Antennacraft CS-600). Unless the Antennas Direct VHF Retrofit Kit made for the Clearstream series will work with the DB-8e. I'm not sure.

The VHF-1 will clip directly onto the reflector of any ClearStream UHF or 'e'-series UHF antenna. It's actually universal enough to work with ANY UHF antenna when mast-mounted.

As far as if it will work for any given reception challenge, well, that's a completely different question with answers that can be much more complex.
